As an auxiliary material in catering and cooking, the amount of seasoning is not as large as that of rice noodles. Therefore, there will be some special requirements on the packaging of condiments, including material, repeated sealing, light shielding, stability and so on. Here is a brief introduction to the commonly used packaging of condiments:

（1） Packaging of sugar and salt

Generally, plastic bag packaging is mainly used, but with the emergence of functional salt, carton packaging also began to appear.

（2） Packaging of soy sauce and vinegar

1. Glass bottle packaging

Because glass bottle packaging has the advantages of good presentation effect, good barrier, low price, convenience and environmental protection, it is still one of the main choices of liquid condiments such as soy sauce and vinegar.

2. Plastic container

In recent years, with the development of science and technology, plastic bags, PET bottles and PE barrels have poured into the condiment market one after another. This is mainly due to two reasons: one is the price development, the other is the continuous opening of the grade of condiments, creating the demand of different grades.

As chicken powder is a common condiment in modern kitchens, its packaging is mainly wide mouth cans and bottles.

（4） Liquid seasoning bottle with small capacity

Liquid condiments with small capacity, such as mustard oil, chili oil and some high-grade raw soy sauce, are still packaged in glass bottles, but all have adopted plastic bottle caps. This market has not yet appeared as an ideal alternative to packaging.

（5） Packaging of pepper and large materials

Pepper and large seasonings, which contain large particles, have a large number, and most of them are in the stage of extensive operation, mostly in bulk. The finished products packaged are mostly in single-layer plastic bags.
